Edmonds Food Bank
Serving Families and Ending Food Insecurity
The Edmonds Food Bank supports those seeking food and nutrition security in the greater Edmonds community.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture, in 2021 33.8 million people lived in food-insecure households, meaning that they “were uncertain of having, or unable to acquire, enough food to meet the needs of all their members.” Of those households, 521,000 children (0.7 percent of the Nation’s children) lived in households in which one or more child experienced very low food security.
Our vision at the Edmonds Food Bank is to ensure that no person in our community is food insecure. On a monthly basis, we have over 300 volunteers contributing nearly 3,500 hours, and last year, we distributed more than 2 million pounds of food.
